Minimum requirements in all categories include:
- People between 21 and 62 years old
- IOM is a multilingual organization. We are proud of the language diversity of our staff members and encourage multilingualism. For positions in the Professional category, proficiency in English and a working knowledge of one additional UN Language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian or Chinese) is required.
In the Professional category:
- Nationals from IOM Member States
- Holders of a university qualification from an accredited University/College
- We offer jobs with various experience requirements. Did you know that at the entry level of the Professional category, no experience is required when one holds a masters degree in the relevant field of study?
- Persons willing to be assigned to IOM duty stations in the field
In the General Service category:
- Holders of at least a secondary school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant technical qualification
- Advanced knowledge of Word for Windows and Excel software or analogous software
