Roundtable Discussion on Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration of Indian Women Workers to ECR Countries
IOM India and the Ministry of External Affairs (Government of India) hosted a roundtable on the international migration of Indian women workers in New Delhi.
The roundtable brought together key government and non-government stakeholders, UN Agencies, academia, subject matter experts and recruitment agencies. The discussions addressed critical facets pertinent to ensuring the Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration of Women migrants below the age of thirty to Emigration Check Required (ECR) Countries.
Participants collectively explored measures to foster a secure, organized, and systematic migration process, with a particular focus on resolving the unique challenges faced by women migrants seeking work opportunities outside India.
